- Christmas jumper. A logo can be added to stock jumpers in small runs, often from about 10 pieces. A jumper knitted to your own pattern is a project with a larger quantity and longer production.
- Knitted beanie. Stock beanies take embroidery, a woven label or a leather or faux leather patch. A custom pattern or pompom beanie usually starts at about 100 pieces.
- Socks. Socks are knitted to your design. European makers often have a minimum of 50 pairs per size and production of about 4 weeks after artwork approval. Text can be knitted into the sole too.
- Scarf. A knitted or printed scarf with a logo, for example a team or fan scarf. About 3 weeks as a custom order, faster from stock.
Lead times for Christmas
If the gifts are handed out in early December, decide in October. Count backwards: artwork approval, production of 3 to 6 weeks, then about a week for shipping and packing. Ordering in mid November mostly leaves stock items with a logo.
